Dr. Damien Frances Chiodo, MD

Damien Chiodo, MD, is a New Jersey native and is licensed to practice medicine in the state of New Jersey. He is a dual board-certified diplomate of the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry as well as Adult Psychiatry. 

Dr. Chiodo has provided psychiatric care and treatment to children as young as age 4. He has a vast array of treatment experiences which include working with children and adolescents in residential centers, inpatient, and outpatient settings. Dr. Chiodo provides diagnostic assessments, medication management and individual psychotherapy, as well as educating families on current guidelines and treatment approaches. 

Dr. Chiodo specializes in working with children/adolescents in the treatment of ADHD, mood/depressive disorders, and anxiety.  

With a focus on compassion and an appreciation of the uniqueness of each individual, WMHS is very sensitive to the developmental issues of children and adolescents, especially within the context of their psychiatric needs. Dr. Chiodo attends to your concerns as a parent or guardian and collaborates with you to develop a treatment plan to help your child succeed in life.
